![]() The PowerPC to Intel transition had this same problem as well took people and developers a long time to convert. Now I only buy stuff that works on both PC and macOS. I switched from Logic to Ableton purely because of this. Plus, I had a "old but not as old" PC from work that was perfectly serviceable and I've been fine. Not by choice or because of anything, my 2009 Mac Pro give up the ghost and I didn't want to repair it (cost prohibitive). Ableton's update came squeaking across the line and before I think the M1 launch and it isn't perfect yet. I agree it sucks but I'll also say I've seen this general "M1 adoption = slow" across the board with regards to a lot of apps, not especially apps in the music space. It's challenging, might not effect as large a % of customers as those m1 customers would think, thus, rage :) TL DR: I've seen this "slow to adopt m1" compliant all over the board, I don't think it's any one company's fault.
